Christy Turlington's Daughter Grace Burns Made Her Milan Fashion Week Debut

She walked her first major runway at the Alberta Ferretti show.

First, it was Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber, and now, Christy Turlington's 19-year-old mini-me Grace Burns is following in her mom's supermodel footsteps.

On Thursday, Burns, whose parents are Turlington and actor and director Ed Burns, made her Milan Fashion Week debut at the Alberta Ferretti spring-summer 2024 fashion show. Walking down the runway, the teen wore a floral one-shoulder dress in shades of blush, mauve, and green, and accessorized with a pair of nude strappy sandals. Her dark brunette hair was worn down and slicked back behind her ears with a sleek middle part.

Following the show, Grace shared a video of her strutting down the catwalk on Instagram, writing in the caption: "@albertaferretti thank you thank you thank you for having me in your show... in a castleeeeee!!!!! So so so honored to be apart of this beautiful collection🫶🫶🫶."

Burns walked her first runway show in June at the British Vogue x LuisaViaRoma show in Florence, Italy, where she wore a custom Victoria Beckham dress with black lace gloves and matching stockings. She also appeared in a Carolina Herrera campaign with her mom earlier this year.

While Grace's current success might seem long overdue (considering that she looks just like her mom), she actually had to wait to start modeling until after her 18th birthday. "I was officially allowed to begin modeling at 18; that was the age my mom always had in mind, and I wouldn’t have it any other way," Grace told HOMMES Magazine. "I remember denying the interest to anyone and everyone because I hadn’t yet told her. However, I’d longed to be 18 for some time. My first job was last January, after my birthday, after I had gotten into college!"
