Christmas party game with red cups is fun for all the family and has simple rules
This is the perfect Christmas party game for all the family, and requires red solo cups and a ping pong ball.
December 25 is nearly hear and many of us are gathering with our families for gifts, feasting and, of course, games. But with board games likely to cause rifts, it can be tricky to find something that keeps everyone harmonious and without lots of complex rules.
With this in mind, the @lightthelights.official Instagram page posted a video showcasing several fun games everyone can play on Christmas Day. One involves red solo cups and party favours and has simple rules, so anyone can get involved.

"Christmas party games ideas," it said. It then showed someone placing mini bottles of spirits, socks, lottery tickets, chocolates and other festive gifts into red solo cups. "Add any prizes you like to party cups," the video said.
"Use a ping pong ball or beer pong ball to bounce into a cup to win the prize," it continued. The clip then went on to show family members trying their hand at the game, bagging themselves various items by aiming the ball at the cups.
Another game requires a collection of Christmas present bows, a bowl and a spatula. To win the game, blindfolded participants must scoop as many bows into the bowl as possible. "We played whoever got the least bows in the bowl in 30 seconds has a forfeit."
In a third game, players attempt to push pompoms off the bottom of cups by blowing party blowers at them. "I know how much CHRISTMAS PEOPLE love a good game," the caption said.
People were quick to comment on the clip, with one person writing: "Oh this is also a great game for Xmas Eve." Another added: "I got the ping pong balls and indoor snowballs. Let the fun begin."
Meanwhile a third added: "This would be good but it’d be a fortune," followed by two laughing emojis. "Cute idea. Just shopping for gifts will be enough $ for this year," said another.
