Christine Lampard delights fans with rare pics of lookalike mum in birthday tribute
ITV and Lorraine star Christine Lampard delighted fans by sharing some snaps of her gorgeous, rarely seen 'lookalike' mum Mina Bleakley.
The Northern Irish star posted a series of throwback pictures of her mum to wish her a happy birthday.
In one snap Mina could be seen looking all dressed up in a long gown and fascinator hat. Another image showed the doting gran holding hands with one of Christine’s children as they enjoyed a stunning sunset during a dog walk in a picturesque location.
A third picture showed Christine and Mina both smiling for a photo together, while looking ever so alike.
Proud Christine captioned the heartwarming portraits: “Our birthday girl! Happy birthday to the best mum in the world!! We’re the luckiest ever @nikjayne_12 @nikatthebarnrescue.”
She posted the pictures with the song, Mother by Ashanti that included the lyrics: “Said I thank you and I love you and I would never ever place no one above you. You have given me life and I just want you to know. That you're the reason I'm here today, I will never let go.”
The TV presenter's fans were quick to comment on the gorgeous mother and daughter duo with one person penning: “See where you get your natural beauty from Christine.”
“Happy Birthday to your beautiful Mum. You are so like her. We always have a wee chat together in the hairdresser's,” added another.
While a third chimed in: “Can see where you get your looks from.”
"Awe happy birthday. She's always so Glam," said another.
It comes as recently addressed the idea of expanding her family with husband Frank Lampard, with a blunt response.
Christine shares daughter Patricia, aged five, and son Freddie, aged two, with her husband of nine years, Chelsea football legend Frank, 45.
Frank is also dad to daughters Isla, 16, and Luna, 18, whom he shares with former partner Elen Rivas.
The star, who is Lorraine Kelly's main stand in presenter on ITV's Lorraine, interviewed two women, in a relationship, on the show who gave birth to each other's children after artificial insemination.
After her conversation ended with the women, Dr Hilary appeared on the sofa alongside Christine, as he asked her if she was "getting broody" after seeing the women's young babies.
But it seems having any more children is off the cards for Christine as she confidently answered: "No, no, no, no, no. I'm done."
