Chris Pratt welcomes third child with Katherine Schwarzenegger - and shares unusual name
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have welcomed their third child together - a baby boy - and have revealed their little one's unique name. The Hollywood icon and his wife, who tied the knot back in 2019 and share daughters Lyla, four, and Eloise, two, shared the happy news on social media.
In a sweet post, doting mum Katherine revealed the exciting news and announced that their son was born on Friday, 8 November. As part of the announcement, the Gift of Forgiveness author also shared that they’d called their son Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt and explained that they were “so blessed” to have the news to share.
"We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris," the caption read.

In response to the heartwarming announcement, fans of the couple rushed to the comments section to share messages of support and congratulations. "Awe yay! Congrats Katherine and fam! So happy for you," wrote one. "How exciting!!! Congratulations to the whole family!," another added.
“Congratulations I'm sure his big brother and big sisters are so excited to have him here!!!!,” a third wrote. Meanwhile a fourth commented: “Congratulations, Chris and the entire Pratt family!”
Chris, 45, who also shares 12 year old son Jack with his ex-wife Anna Faris, began dating Katherine back in 2018. The pair announced their engagement in January 2019 before making their red carpet debut at the Avengers: Endgame premiere in Los Angeles in April that same year.
In August 2020, Katherine gave birth to their eldest daughter Lyla Maria and in May 2022 they welcomed their second daughter Eloise Christina into the world. Since then, the duo have opened up on their experience of parenthood, with Chris explaining how his style of parenting was different from how he was raised.
“I grew up, I did exactly what my parents said all the time. I never knew I could say 'no' to my parents. And now I'm a guy who didn't have a super healthy grip on his own emotions. So we're trying to raise them in a way that they feel comfortable expressing themselves,” he told E! News in May.
He added: “They still know the meaning of the word 'no' from their mom. When it comes from me, they don't seem to know what that means. And I don't really know what to do about it, but we'll get there.”
