Facebook group Newfoodsuk got chocoholics excited over the new bars in a post that read: "Brand new KitKats now available at Tesco! We got these today from our local Tesco Express!"
Numerous shoppers were quick to voice their excitement, with one writing: "Now your just teasing me."
A second delighted foodie wrote: "These sound interesting."
Someone else echoed: "Oooo these look good!"
While another KitKat fan said: "Omg did not see them xx."
Another eager shopper said: "Omgggg I'm obsessed with Kit Kats."
The new KitKat's see three fingers of the iconic chocolate bar layered with two crispy wafers that have been smothered in smooth milk chocolate. Each bar is then topped with a layer of the new flavoured sauce.
While the new flavours are available to buy in Tesco Express stores now, they are not yet available to buy online from the supermarket's website. So, it's worth checking your local store for stock availability if you're keen to try them out.
It comes just after Tesco excited one fan on TikTok who declared "life was worth living" after spotting a 1kg bag of Mini Eggs on offer ahead of Easter. Priced from £4.85 for a small bag and £14 for the 1kg, the price-tag was met with some criticism from other shoppers.
Meanwhile, if you have heard about the viral Dubai chocolate, then you'll be pleased to hear that it made its way over to the UK thanks to Morrisons. The supermarket giant shared on Facebook that its Flair Pistachio Kunafa Dubai Chocolate Cake Bar are available in stores.
For those keen to get their hands on the new KitKat flavours, they can be bought in Tesco Express stores now. They will be available at Extra and Superstore's from January 29.
