Chili's Margaritas Are $5 for National Margarita Day

The chain's Tequila Trifecta and similar cocktails will be available for cheap on National Margarita Day on Feb. 22

Chili's is saying "cheers" to National Margarita Day.

The restaurant will honor the food holiday on Thursday, Feb. 22 by reducing the price of margaritas to just $5, PEOPLE confirms. There are 10 traditional margaritas on the menu but the Tequila Trifecta is the one part of the offer. As the name suggests, it's made with el Jimador Silver, 1800 Reposado and Jose Cuervo Gold, plus triple sec and fresh sour.

Chili's is taking the celebration a step further this year and including a few other cocktails that are made with tequila. There will also be commemorative cups available on the big day.

The Straw-Eddy, featuring Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka and Lunazul Blanco Tequila mixed with fresh sour and strawberry puree, will be $6 and the price of the restaurant's newest margarita, the Spice-A-Rita, will be $10 on Feb. 22.

The Spice-A-Rita is made with Espolón Reposado Tequila, Grand Marnier, fresh sour, Monin Jalapeño and a dash of Tajin, per a press release.

In 2023, The Office stars Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey teamed up with Chili's to celebrate the drink the restaurant is known for. In the ad, the actresses listed many different kinds of celebratory margaritas, from the "birthday marg" to the "weekend marg" to just having a marg because they wanted a marg.

If you're more of a celebrate-at-home person, PEOPLE has multiple recipes, including the official margartia sipped by the ladies on Sweet Magnolias. The star ingredient is frozen limeade concentrate.

There's also the Margaritaville margarita, which was reshared after Jimmy Buffet's death in September.
