Chick-fil-A is bringing the heat, and the sweet, this spring.

To welcome the changing seasons, Chick-fil-A announced on Thursday, March 6, that the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich will return to restaurant locations nationwide starting Monday, March 17.

The fan-favorite entree was first released in 2017 and later removed from menus. But after its three-year hiatus, the food chain is re-releasing the sandwich, now with three versions to choose from—original, spicy and grilled.

Each sandwich comes with juicy chicken (cooked to your liking), strips of crispy bacon that are tossed in a brown sugar and black pepper blend and topped with Colby Jack cheese, lettuce, and a smoky BBQ sauce, all served on a toasted, buttery, sweet yeast bun.

Alongside the smoky sandwich options come a set of four new tasty beverages that all share base flavors of pineapple and dragonfruit — perfect for the springtime weather and to pair with the smoky tastes of the Smokehouse Sandwich.

The new drink flavors include: Pineapple Dragonfruit Frosted Lemonade (inspired by Chick-fil-A’s signature Icedream frozen dessert), Pineapple Dragonfruit Lemonade, Pineapple Dragonfruit Iced Tea, and Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy (a combination of lemonade and sweetened iced tea).

Allison Duncan, Chick-fil-A's director of menu and packaging, said the new flavors are meant to be "reminiscent of longer, brighter days and time spent outside with family and friends" in a press release obtained by PEOPLE.
