Burger King Just Brought Back a Fan-Favorite Side After a 3-Year Hiatus

Fast food chains like Burger King love to keep things fresh with limited-time menu items, giving fans new flavors to try and old favorites to celebrate. In the past year alone, BK has treated drive-thru enthusiasts to creations like the Buffalo Ranch Crispy Chicken Melt and the Addams Family-themed Wednesday’s Whopper. It’s even brought back beloved menu items thought to be discontinued, from Cini Minis to Churro Fries.

Now, Burger King is bringing back another fan-loved snack, and this one’s got a spicy kick. No, it's not the Fiery Big Fish Sandwich (which did just make an exciting return)—it’s something smaller, cheesier, and perfect for popping. After three long years, Jalapeño Cheddar Bites are officially back on the BK menu.

BK’s Jalapeño Cheddar Bites returned to participating restaurant menus on March 6 and are now available at a recommended price of $1.69 for a four-piece order and $2.69 for an eight-piece. Perfect as a drive-thru snack or as a side with your favorite Burger King meal, these crispy, golden bites pack a gooey cheddar cheese center with just the right amount of jalapeño heat.

The last time these spicy bites were widely available on Burger King menus was in 2022, and fans have been missing them ever since. One TikTok creator tried them back in the day and gave their stamp of approval: "I can confirm that they’re both cheesy and jalapeño-y. Two bucks for a bag of five—great snack. Honestly, bussin’."

Over on Reddit, BK lovers have been reminiscing about these fried favorites for years, calling them "so bomb" and praising their deliciousness when dipped in things like salsa or ranch dressing. Now, in the r/fastfood subreddit, users are already buzzing about the return of the fried snacks, alerting fellow BK enthusiasts of the good news. "These are dangerous," one user shared.
