This chic homeware is all under £15
What does home mean to you? Most of us will have a universal definition – some of the must-have ingredients often include comfort, warmth, and cosiness. But dig beyond those all-important top layers and it’s likely the ne plus ultra of homeliness should also tick these boxes, too: good value, long-lasting, sustainable, and stylish.
That said, a quick win here and there doesn’t go amiss either (because who doesn’t want to make life a little easier?) And the good news is you needn’t spend a lot for your home to look fantastic. Need evidence? Look no further than George Home at Asda.
As Prima's homes editor, I see countless collections across all kind of budgets, brands and seasons, but George Home consistently impresses me, thanks to its range of pretty – and practical – homeware. Not to mention the small price tags, which make everything unbeatable value.
It started with these timeless ribbed tumblers. Then I met the ever-so charming lemon salt and pepper set – this was how I fell down the George Home rabbit hole (and have been consistently delighted by the supermarket's offering since).
When it comes to styling budget homeware, I find these pieces work best when you mix and match. Opposites really do attract here – think about blending the differences: modern and classic, high and low, brand new and second hand, homemade and off-the-shelf, for example.
