A cheese-themed afternoon tea is coming to London
We all love a good British afternoon tea – especially if it happens to have bottomless Prosecco.
But the only thing in this world more important than Prosecco? Cheese.
At long last, a cheese-themed afternoon tea is hitting London.
Dishes featured in the tea at the Georgian House Hotel in Pimlico are centred entirely around cheese; from a smoked cheddar Welsh rarebit to a cheese, nduja and roasted pepper sandwich.
And instead of traditional cream teas with clotted cream and jam, there are baked cheddar and thyme scones served with chutney and apple.
When it comes to the sweet stuff, your cheese journey still continues, with ricotta and whisky-soaked apricots, toasted almonds and honey and ‘drunk’ blue cheese with oat biscuits and currants.

Take a moment and just imagine this coming toward you on a three-tier cake stand.
There are, of course, drinks to compliment this magical cheese experience, too.
So if you fancy going (of course you do), the pop-up will be open from 22 to 30 July – you haven’t got long to commit.
