Chanelle Hayes has shocked fans with her weight loss journey over the years as she’s fluctuated from a size six to 18.

She rose to fame in 2007 on Big Brother, and now Chanelle, 36, is proudly showing off her new figure. On Saturday 15 June, Chanelle took to her Instagram page to share a compilation of pictures of herself over the years at different weights.

She titled the video: "POV: You've been every size," before a montage of pictures of her at the beach and at the swimming pool were shown.

The reality star captioned the video: "What even is a summer body anyway?! I had a lovely time on every single one of these holidays and I ranged from size 6-18 (to pregnant!).

"I’ve chosen all blue bikinis because sometimes our body image makes us feel blue. I wish I could tell my younger self to just enjoy every single moment because it’s the memories that counts. Not the bikini size. Do you feel body confident?"

It’s not the first time Chanelle has spoken openly about her body and fans were delighted to see the star being so candid.

They rushed to comment on her video with one saying: “Love this and your total honesty and realistic attitude… we have so so much unrealistic pressure to look fabulous..”

Another added: “Ah love ya girl. Show it no matter what size”. A third said: “Why does happiness ever be defined by a size? Love this”.

And a fourth simply wrote: “And you look fab in them all” followed by a love heart emoji.

Chanelle has revealed previously to having gastric sleeve surgery in August 2020 and then had a tummy tuck in 2023 after being left with excess skin from her weight loss.

In an exclusive chat with OK! Chanelle said: “My tummy tuck really did knock me for six this year,” she told OK!. “I was in so much pain during the recovery. They found a hernia during surgery, so repaired that, which caused a lot of pain. So yeah, it was just… a lot.

“I am feeling better now, but the recovery was so long. I couldn’t drive, I had to sleep sitting up… I couldn’t even stand up straight. So I wouldn’t put myself through it again. It wasn’t worth it.”

Chanelle went on to say: “I’m happy with my weight, but I’m not happy with my tummy tuck scar. It goes up in the middle and I didn’t want it to.

“I knew straight after the surgery that it wasn’t what I wanted. If I could go back, I would much rather have the loose skin I had before than have the results I have now.”
