Rihanna and A$AP Rocky nail couple dressing on 'Wakanda Forever' red carpet
Just hours after the singer teased her new song, "Lift Me Up", her first single in six years, Rihanna hit the red carpet for the first time since the birth of their first child with her partner A$AP Rocky.
The singer-rapper duo chose the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiere on Wednesday to make their return to the red carpet, and did so with a bang: in matching tonal outfits.
The star teased her upcoming single “Lift Me Up” – a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman – on Instagram, before hitting the red carpet for the film, which features the song on its soundtrack.
As if it wasn’t enough news that Rihanna is back, her and A$AP couple style on the red carpet had heads turning too.
The pair wore matching deep beige tonal looks, Rihanna in a sequinned Rick Owens gown, and A$AP in a double denim ensemble.
But they're not the first celebrity couple to borrow inspiration from their other halves’ wardrobes in the public eye. Some celebrity couples have been dressing the same for years.
Sure, it's nice to make a joint effort for big events, like the Met Gala for example, but these celebrities have taken to dressing alike off the red carpet, too.
For example, Brad Pitt and… well, almost all of his partners over the years. There seems to be a theory that the Ocean’s Eleven star adapts his hair to match his partner’s at the time, and it looks like his wardrobe hasn’t been far off, either.
From David and Victoria Beckham’s many, many, matching outfits from the early years of their relationship (including their wedding outfits), to some more subtle nods from Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, these famous faces have taken twinning to the next level.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
Whilst Angelina Jolie is partial to a strapless glamorous gown with a thigh-high slit perfect for posing, but when the event calls for it, a matching tuxedo with then husband Brad Pitt is the perfect call.
David and Victoria Beckham
It's hard to pick just one of David and Victoria Beckham's matching outfits (even their matching purple wedding outfits go down in the style history books), but these matching head-to-toe leather looks just about take the biscuit. "We didn't know about fashion. We were just having fun with it," shared the fashion designer during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week, adding that it 'haunts' her. "It was very well-documented and will just not leave me alone, let me tell you," she added
