The launch of course didn’t run smoothly. The album apparently mistakenly appeared on Tidal on Wednesday afternoon, was quickly ripped by Rihanna super-fans, then finally officially released as a free download.
RiRi, who after putting out a new record almost every year since her 2005 debut Music Of The Sun, took a well earned break following 2012’s Unapologetic. Since then she has become: Creative Director of Puma, the face of Dior and collaborating with Beatles
The 13 track album, which is a daring exploration and a departure from what we’ve come to expect of the Bajan singer. We recommend checking out: ‘Same Ol’ Mistakes’ (a cover of Aussie band Tame Impala ‘New Person, Same Old Mistakes’), ‘Never Ending’ and ‘Desperado’.
