The classic cape coat has firmly secured its place in our new-season wardrobe, partly thanks to style queen Claudia Winkleman who reminded us of all the fabulous ways to style a cape on The Traitors.
The cape coat resurgence hasn't just hit our TV screens, either. Since Saint Laurent's AW23 runway show, it's been steadily trending with a twist. Case in point: the edgy black leather capes layered over flowing dresses that dominated Chloé’s AW24 runway, or the cropped sporty styles spotted at Burberry.
