Now, it seems another member of the Windsor household has been taking style notes after Camilla Parker Bowles was spotted on a recent engagement, cradling a rather familiar looking handbag.
On Wednesday afternoon, the 71-year-old paid a visit to the Jewish Care’s Brenner centre dressed in a forest green skirt suit.
But it was her miniature accessory that caught eagle-eyed royal fans by surprise.
In her arm was London’s £295 ‘Mini Venice’ bag in a co-ordinating hue – which the Duchess of Sussex first carried on an engagement back in January 2018.
For her second trip of the year, she joined Prince Harry in Cardiff decked in a super chic satin-bowed Stella McCartney coat (yours from Harrods for a cool £1,350) and gave a nod to Wales in a pair of tailored trousers by Welsh label Hiut Denim.
Although it’s not yet certain whether the Duchess of Cornwall borrowed from Meghan’s wardrobe or not, she did also take another styling technique from the pregnant Duchess by keeping warm in a caped jacket – one of the royal’s go-to accessories.
But it seems swapping sartorial tips is a common place in Kensington Palace, as the Duchess of Sussex twinned with the Duchess of Cambridge back in November 2018.
While Meghan dressed in a £178 dress by Club Monaco for a trip to the Al Manaar Centre in London, her sister-in-law recycled a berry-hued Paule Ka skirt suit from 2012 for a University College London visit.
For those hoping to get hold of the handbag in question, there are surprisingly a few left up for grabs on the website.
Ah, if only we too could borrow from Meghan’s wardrobe…
