Cadbury's Secret Santa Service Allows 120,000 People To Gift A Free Chocolate Bar

Cadbury fans, we have news! The leading chocolate brand has announced its Secret Santa Service for 2022, and it's bigger, better and bolder than ever before.

Yep! This year, Cadbury is giving 120,000 people the chance to gift a free chocolate bar for Christmas – secretly, of course. And it's safe to say we've never felt so festive.

Different from last year – to send a bar, chocolate fans will need to look out for a special poster (as pictured in Cadbury's Christmas ad), where they can scan a QR code. The code will then take them through to an interactive digital experience, where they will be guided through the service by Jeff, the Cadbury postie.

Secret Santas can choose from a selection of Cadbury chocolate bars, including classic Cadbury Dairy Milk and a host of Cadbury Dairy Milk flavours including Winter Wonderland, Oreo, Caramel, Wholenut, Fruit & Nut, Mini Snowballs and Vegan Plant bar.

And if that wasn't enough, Cadbury has teamed up with The Trussell Trust again this year, donating 75,000 bars of chocolate to over 200 food banks, as well as making a financial donation.

Emma Paxton, Senior Brand Manager comments: “The rumours are true! Our much-loved Secret Santa ritual is back, and this year, it’s bigger than ever before. At Cadbury, we’re all about encouraging generosity – we believe there’s a bar and a half in everyone – so this year we wanted to make Secret Santa more accessible than ever and to spread that generosity across the nation. That’s why from today, you’ll see our postal service popping up on posters across the country, giving 120,000 people the opportunity to send chocolate secretly to a loved one this season. We hope that our campaign encourages the nation to get into the Christmas spirit and become a Secret Santa, helped of course by our wonderful postie Jeff.”
