Bruno Mars’ Ricky Regal Revamps Modern Western Style With Stetson Collaboration
Bruno Mars is putting his fashion-designing alter ego back to work with his second fashion collaboration launching Thursday. Partnering with Stetson, the range features a new silhouette inspired by the American heritage brand’s early designs.
“Bruno Mars is famous for the effortless way he remixes timeless influences and that’s exactly what he’s done with this collaboration, bringing a modern attitude to Stetson’s rich history and legendary craftsmanship,” Stetson chief executive officer Robert Dundon said.

The range is created under the performer’s lifestyle brand Ricky Regal, an alter ego. Mars first collaborated with Lacoste under the name in 2021. “When I’m on stage, my name is Bruno Mars. When making lavish garments, I go by Ricky Regal,” he said during that launch.
With Stetson, the performer has created a modern interpretation of The Ranger style. Available in black, silverbelly and chocolate, the limited-quantity accessory features a signature gold-toned horseshoe pin with rhinestones and a Stetson x Ricky Regal liner featuring a red rose. Mars has long included headgear in his looks both off and on stage.
“I’ve always been a fan of Stetson,” Mars says. “I’m honored that I got to design a hat and a shape that I personally love.”
The Regal, as Mars’ design is named, will be available for $380 exclusively at stetson.com on Thursday at 11 a.m. ET.
It comes well-timed for an ongoing Western trend notably being furthered by the likes of Beyoncé, Bella Hadid and Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton, among others. Mars and Lady Gaga channeled retro Western style complete with a white Stetson in the music video for their duet “Die With a Smile.”
