Britney Spears gives heartbreaking update after her weekend hotel injury

Britney Spears has sparked worry among her fans after she was reportedly injured in a heated altercation at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.

The 42 year old singer was seen leaving the hotel barefoot and dishevelled, with an ambulance called to the scene.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker took to Instagram to share a cryptic message following the incident, writing: "Don't ever lose sleep over people who ruined your dreams - Britney Spears," on a pink backdrop. This comes after her sister Jamie Lynn Spears appeared to take a swipe at Britney.

Jamie Lynn shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to their mother, Lynne Spears, on her Instagram Story. She posted a picture of Lynne with Jamie Lynn's two daughters, Maddie Briann Aldridge and Ivey Joan Watson, captioning it: "Happy birthday to my beautiful mama. She has a childlike spirit that brings magic to everything she does, and we are so blessed to have her."

Shortly after, Britney posted a nostalgic photo of herself holding one of her sons. The pop star shares two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston Federline, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The legendary pop star, Britney Spears, is sadly estranged from her sons, who are living with their father in Hawaii. In 2022, their dad Kevin revealed that Sean and Preston hadn't seen their mum for months and chose not to attend her wedding to Sam Asghari, reports the Mirror.

Sean and Preston then publicly asked their mum to stop posting risque videos on Instagram. Responding to their comments, Britney said she "gave them everything" and was "saddened" by their words.

Britney's mum, Lynne, was spotted arriving in Los Angeles over the weekend following the singer's recent hotel drama. Lynne landed in LA less than a day after the incident.

She was pictured at the airport, wheeling a suitcase and soon picked up by her son Bryan Spears and her granddaughter Sophia Alexandra Spears. Britney took to Instagram last Thursday night, sharing two harrowing videos of her swollen and bruised ankle.

In the post, she pointed fingers at her mother for what happened, writing: "I know my mom was involved ! ! ! I haven't talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out ! ! ! I was set up just like she did way back when ! ! ! ".
