A Disney-obsessed bride threw her dream fairytale wedding earlier this month courtesy of a Cinderella-inspired ballgown and Mickey Mouse cake.

Emily Breden from New South Wales in Australia had always dreamed of being a princess bride and her childhood wish finally come true when she wed longterm partner Jack.

The couple took on the roles of Cinderella and Prince Charming on their big day, as Emily walked down the aisle in a blue frothy dress (tiara included) while Jack donned a white medal-emblazoned suit.

“I’ve always been absolutely obsessed with Disney. I think watching all the movies over my childhood, the magic of it all just became ingrained in me,” the 28-year-old said.

In a further nod to the theme, the mother-of-three also chose five Disney-inspired tattoos in the run-up to the wedding and now plans to have ‘happily ever after’ inked in the near future.

All 64 wedding guests were asked to dress as famous Disney characters with the likes of ‘Toy Story”s Woody and Snow White in attendance.

The newlyweds’ two daughters also wore outfits inspired by Disney favourite ‘Frozen’ while their two-year-old son Evan chose a ‘Star Wars’ stormtrooper costume.

But the couple’s commitment to the theme doesn’t stop there, as the bride and groom also cut into a Mickey Mouse-inspired wedding cake on their special day – complete with princess-themed cupcakes.

“I really felt like Cinderella and Jack is definitely my Prince Charming. I’ve only ever seen him cry when we had children but when I walked up the aisle I could see his face was soaked,” Emily revealed.

“It was a truly magical day.”
