A bride invited some of her high school classmates to her wedding, only to ghost them after the nuptials.

In a post on Reddit's popular "WeddingShaming" forum, a poster explained that they'd been invited to their former classmate's wedding after attending their high school reunion party

"Guess I am just stupid," the Reddit user insisted, adding that "one of the girls" at the reunion talked to her and the two ended up keeping "in touch for the next few months."

"Sometimes we talked nonstop for a day or two. Like bff or something," the poster wrote, adding that she was then invited to watch the woman tie the knot.

"I went, getting a present for her. All of the presents [on] their wish list [were] a lil pricey, basically she was asking to furnish her whole apartment," the user admitted, including "fridges, [a] sofa and silk curtains too," she added in the comments section."

As for the gift they purchased, the Redditor revealed they gifted the bride a "vacuum robot. One of the cheapest in the list."

"After the wedding, I never heard from her again. She literally ghosted me. Found out she did the same things for other girls at the high school party too," the unimpressed person added.

The majority of people sided with the poster, with one person joking, "Don't worry, she'll be back in touch in time for the baby shower!"

"You know, I could almost admire the hustle. I just can't imagine putting this much energy into strangers you just want to fleece. I can barely keep up with my actual friends 😅," another posted.

One Reddit user assured the poster, "You sound like a good person. Don’t be ashamed of your actions. It’s a lesson learned. Cut her off."
