Bobby Brazier reveals romance update as he admits that Jazzy Phoenix is a 'sweetheart'
Bobby Brazier has opened up on his rumoured romance with EastEnders co-star Jazzy Phoenix, as he denied that she is his girlfriend.
The 20 year old actor, who also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023, walked the red carpet at this year's BAFTAs on Sunday, 12 May, looking dapper in a black tuxedo as he showed off his freshly-trimmed hair, after previously rocking longer, curly locks.
He refused to confirm his rumoured romance with Jazzy, who plays Nadine Keller on EastEnders.
Speaking to a reporter at the BAFTAs who asked how his romance was going with his 'new girlfriend' Jazzy, as he responded coyly: "What new girlfriend?"
He went on: "Jazzy's not my girlfriend, she's a sweetheart though." He then went on to call her a 'sweet girl' but said that they are just good friends.
Bobby went on to drop a huge hint about his future wife as he said: "I think I know the girl that I'm going to marry."
"She and her whole family are just something else," he explained, before refusing to name the mystery girl, however he did reveal that she is not famous.
He cheekily added: "We're gonna be happy and in peace, I'll tell you that much."
Rumours started swirling in early April that Bobby and Jazzy's friendship had turned romantic after the pair posted 'identical' snaps on Instagram.
Jazzy appeared to confirm the new romance after sharing a picture of a bunch of flowers on her Stories, which looked rather similar to ones that Bobby had also shared earlier in the day.
In the now-deleted post from Saturday night (March 30), 23 year old Jazzy showcased a stunning white and pink bouquet and captioned it with a love heart and smiling emoji.
The EastEnders' star's post allegedly came just hours after Bobby had shared a snap of a bouquet of pink roses too. Both bouquets were also wrapped in what looked to be the exact same tissue paper.
When Bobby was on Strictly, there were an abundance of rumours that he and his partner, Dianne Buswell, were more than just friends, despite her being in a relationship with YouTuber Joe Sugg, with whom she remains to this day.
Recently, Bobby shared a birthday tribute to Dianne, writing on Instagram: "I love you".
Bobby shared a number of snaps and videos to his Instagram Stories, the first of which was a mirror selfie of the pair during training rehearsals for Strictly. Over the top, Bobby wrote: "It's big d's birthday."
Next, he posted a video compilation of some of their dances on Strictly, which was seemingly made from a fan account. Another photo showed Bobby spinning Dianne around upside down on the dancefloor, as he wrote: "Some of the biggest smiles and moodiest faces."
In another hilarious clip, he could be seen picking Dianne up and attempting to put her in the bin, writing: "You needed to be put in the bin often."
Finally, Bobby posted a picture of he and Dianne hugging, as he wrote: "I love you," with a finger pointing emoji, before adding: "And thank you. You're my family," with a red love heart.
