Blake Lively Pairs A Plain Tank Top With £16K Hibiscus Cutout Jeans
Nearly 20 years after the film adaptation of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants defined a generation, Blake Lively is once again making a statement in denim.
This past weekend, Lively attended a Texas screening for her latest movie, It Ends With Us, in a spectacular pair of Valentino jeans that casually cost $19,000 (£15,700). The bottoms were a subtle homage to her character, a florist subtly named Lily Bloom, featuring a magnificent patchwork of embroidered hibiscus flowers and accompanying cutouts all over.

Lively let her pants do most of the talking, pairing the jeans only with a ribbed white tank top and dark blue Louboutin pumps. She also accessorised with an array of glittery jewellery, from diamond-embellished hoop earrings to a stack of gemstone-encrusted bracelets.
Lively later winked at The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in an Instagram Story recap. In photos shared from the event, the actor matched with her It Ends With Us costars Isabela Ferrer and Brandon Sklenar, as well as Colleen Hoover, author of the novel the new film is based on—all of whom similarly wore white tops and blue jeans.
'Well. You finally got a sisterhood of the traveling pants sequel last night,' Lively captioned one picture. She cheekily added, 'Except one of our sisters is looking extremely male…'
She also added a special note for Ferrer, who plays the younger version of Lily in the film. 'Two Lillies. Both wearing my clothes. And shoes all weekend,' Lively wrote underneath a selfie of the two stars. 'I love this person so much. I cannot wait for the world to experience her beauty. Yeah she’s stunning. But it’s every single bit of her insides that’s @isabela.ferrer’s real magic. On screen and off. You’ll see her soon in her 1ST FILM EVER @itendswithusmovie.'
