Blake Lively Paired Her Beyoncé-Coded Cardigan With a Miniskirt and Sky-High Platforms

She's that girl.

We had no doubt that Beyoncé's A-list friends would show up (and out) to support her new concert movie, RENAISSANCE: A Film By Beyoncé. But Blake Lively and Taylor Swift showing up to the London premiere was not on our bingo cards this week. Nevertheless, the two best friends attended a special screening in respective Beyoncé-coded 'fits.

Lively arrived on the black carpet in an all-black look that included a few chrome details to fit Queen Bey's now-famous tour aesthetic. Lively wore a long Chanel cardigan with a sequin zig-zag design along the bottom, which she styled with a matching tweed miniskirt, black stockings, and coordinating patent leather Christian Louboutin platforms. The finishing touch on the look was a pair of sheer black gloves, presumably more for fashion than function, because the mesh material is not keeping out the cold, that's for sure.

Her accessories for the occasion were, you guessed it, silver, and included a shimmery statement necklace with strands of rhinestones that reached her midsection, diamond-and-sapphire earrings, bedazzled bangles, and a smattering of rings. Lively's signature blonde hair was worn in a deep side part and voluminous waves, and her glam included a rosy shadow, blush draping, and a matching peach lip.

Her best girl Tay wore an on-theme discoball-inspired Balmain gown with a rosette detail and super-high leg slit, which she styled with a deep side part, gentle curls, and her signature red lip. She and Beyoncé are known for being supportive queens, so when Bey famously showed up to Swift's premiere of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Taylor had to return the favor. Taylor thanked Beyoncé for attending with a sweet Instagram post that read, "I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence. The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms."
