Billie Shepherd breaks down in tears after hospital dash with Margot
Billie Faiers is set to share a heart-wrenching moment on Thursday's episode of Billie and Greg: The Family Diaries as she recounts a frightening incident that led to her baby daughter Margot being rushed to hospital.
The 17-month-old tot was taken by ambulance earlier this year after she suddenly stopped breathing, which doctors later identified as a febrile seizure - a condition the NHS explains can occur in children with high temperatures.
In a preview for tonight's episode (Thursday 23 May) seen by the Mirror, Billie and her hubby Greg Shepherd relive the harrowing ordeal. During the episode, an emotional Billie, who is also mum to Nelly and Arthur, is seen breaking down as she describes the emergency.
A voiceover in the clip reveals: "Billie and Greg are faced with an emergency, resulting in little Margot being rushed to hospital."
In a candid VT, Billie shares: "We were at Greg's sister's having lunch and Margot wasn't 100% that day, she had flushed cheeks. She could have been teething, it was nothing out of the ordinary. The kids were having some food, I turned around and Margot had gone completely stiff."
She continues with the chilling details: "Straight away I grabbed her out the high chair, all I remember is me screaming: 'Someone help me' and then she stopped breathing. I screamed: 'Someone call an ambulance!
"For me, my head..." Billie breaks down in tears as husband Greg comforts her. She continues: "When we got to the hospital, they said she had a febrile seizure, where basically her temperature had spiked so quickly and her body tried to regulate her temperature. As a result of that, some babies and young children have seizures."
"Once we were in the hospital, I definitely felt like I was in the right place, where I needed to be, it just made me feel a little bit more reassured", she adds: "After six hours in A&E, the doctors sent us home and asked us just to keep an eye on Margot."
Former TOWIE star Billie is set to return for a new series of her hit ITVBe reality show with husband Greg and their three children Nelly, Arthur and Margot. Billie and Greg welcomed baby Margot at the beginning of December in 2022.
"Welcome to the world our beautiful baby girl 02~12~22 We are so in love with our precious little darling," she wrote at the time.
