Kris Marshall's character, Humphrey Goodman, was introduced in the first episode of the third series of Death in Paradise which aired in 2014 and has appeared on and off since. He left the series in 2017, citing pressures it placed upon his family and was replaced in the detective role by Ardal O'Hanlon.

However, he later returned to the franchise for its recent spin-off Beyond Paradise, set in South Devon, which aired a second series earlier this year and will air a Christmas special this December. But after appearing in various roles across TV and film since the 1990s, how much is the star worth?
