If you don't want to spend another December vacuuming up pine needles, artificial Christmas trees are becoming an increasingly appealing choice.
In the past, the branches of faux Christmas trees may have looked more like tinsel than pine needles, but designs have come a long way since then, and now you'd often be hard pushed to even tell the difference between a fake and real tree.
If the rustic log cabin look is your thing, fake trees can also be bought with a smattering of 'snow' adorning their branches, and many come 'pre-lit' with integrated LED light bulbs, making our most dreaded pre-Christmas chore — untangling the fairy lights — a thing of the past.
Not to mention, they fold up small, so you don't have to struggle home with a 7ft spruce over your shoulder.
You can get small trees for under £10, and larger (around 7ft) trees for between £40 to £500, but even those with a larger initial outlay often work out cheaper than buying real trees in the long run, as they'll last for years.
So, with that in mind, we've scoured the online shops to find the best artificial trees you can have delivered to your door this year.

The perfect size for smaller rooms or for those who don't want their Christmas decorations to dominate, this easy-to-assemble tree comes pre-lit with LED lights — which use less power than traditional bulbs — and a timer to prevent energy wastage. A classic pick, here the tree's outer tips are moulded and coloured to mimic a real-life spruce (but obviously, without the shedding that comes with the real deal). It's beautifully full and comes in a rich, emerald green and with a soft, irregular outline for hanging longer decorations easily, with more compact baubles able to nestle neatly between the branches.
