Amanda Holden's lookalike daughter Lexi celebrates 19th birthday with 'drunk Barbie' cake
Amanda Holden’s daughter recently turned 19 and had a fun celebration with her friends and family, complete with a pink 'drunk Barbie' cake. Amanda, 53, took to Instagram and shared several memorable moments from her daughter Lexi Hughes’s sweet birthday celebration, which took place at Harry's Restaurant in Exeter. The guest list comprised her model daughter’s friends.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge and her husband, Chris Hughes, gathered to celebrate their eldest daughter, with Amanda posting a picture to her Instagram grid which showed the teenager sporting a chic black ensemble as she posed with her quirky cake.
Amanda captioned the photo: “Our gorgeous girl turns 19 today!! Lexi we love you so much. Super proud of you and all the choices you are making. Our shy, wise, funny talented girl. Love Mummy Daddy and Hollie xx Have the happiest day.”

In a separate Instagram story, the Heart Radio broadcaster shined the spotlight on Lexi’s extravagant, custom-made birthday cake, which saw iconic doll Barbie doing the splits atop layers of pink fondant, embellished with luxurious pink and blue cake decorations.
As part of the cake décor, various fondant-laden mini-bottles made from scratch, depicting popular alcohol brands, lined the top of the cake, with decadent icing and candles that read ‘19’ perfectly rounding off the visual masterpiece.
The radio presenter also shared glimpses of her daughter handing out plates of cake to her friends, as well as a video where Amanda led a spirited rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ for her daughter, who shyly soaked in the adulation.
Fans were taken aback by the fact that Amanda’s daughter, Lexi, was already celebrating her 19th birthday, as they marvelled at how much she resembled her famous mother.
One fan commented: “I can't believe she's that age, time flies” while another echoed similar sentiments and said: "Happy birthday, Lexi! I can't believe you're already 19! xxx.”
Another user wrote: "Oh my gosh, where has the time gone? You look absolutely gorgeous, just like your mum! Xxxx."
Meanwhile, Lexi seemed to have made it ‘Insta-official’ with her new boyfriend last month as he made his debut on her social media with a cosy snap of the two of them next to a Christmas tree. Lexi looked stunning in a red strappy satin dress with her arms around a boy, presumably her boyfriend, who was seen sporting a fashionable black blazer and kilt. Lexi captioned the photo-dump “Christmas + a bit of Scotland”.
Amanda and Chris’ eldest child also posted snaps of her mother, father and younger sister Hollie, posing in front of the same Christmas tree, as well as other moments from her time in Scotland.
Amanda had recently expressed her pride at Lexi passing her A-levels and landing a spot at her first university of choice. The proud mum wrote on Instagram: “Congratulations to our @lexi.hughes__ we couldn't be prouder. All the grades and 1st choice uni what a bl**dy relief.”
The actress has been married to Chris Hughes since 2008 and they have another daughter, Hollie Rose, 12.
