Bella Hadid Does Y2K Style With A Sporty Low-Rise Look
There’s no question the early 2000s are having their moment in fashion. From Sydney Sweeney’s cargo miniskirt to Justin and Hailey Bieber’s coordinating sporty sunglasses, it seems Y2K is here to stay. And for Bella Hadid, the era seems to be more of a lifestyle than a passing trend.
After stepping out in not one, but two edgy leather outfits, the model channelled the noughties as she strolled around New York City on Saturday. For the occasion, she wore a grey-and-white fitted V-neck tee from Miaou, and styled the sporty top with a pair of low-rise jeans with contrasting stitching. The dark denim, presumably part of Hadid’s extensive vintage collection, also featured star-like embroidery and gold hardware.

The model upped the Y2K feel of her outfit with a pair of black leather thong mules from Sandy Liang, which boasted a cute bow detail. She added a pair of black wraparound sunglasses to her look for good measure too, getting in on the eyewear trend alongside celebrities like Charli XCX, Kaia Gerber, and Rihanna. To complete her ensemble, she opted for a tasteful nude pedicure and hot-red manicure.
Hadid’s long brown hair was styled in a deep side part with effortless waves, not unlike her look the day prior. Although her eyes weren’t visible behind her sporty shades, she showed off her makeup with pencilled brows, coral blush, and a matching glossy lip contoured with brown lip liner.
While in New York City, the model has had lots of photo ops beside her signature street style looks. Yesterday, she attended a photo shoot in Chelsea, while on Thursday, she celebrated her collaboration with Adidas Originals by posing in front of a massive billboard with her face on it in Times Square.
