I Believe In Santa fans are completely baffled Netflix

It's not often a Netflix Christmas film leaves fans completely baffled, but it's safe to say I Believe In Santa has not had an ideal reaction from fans.

The film, which dropped on the streaming platform on 14th December 2022, promises to be a "feel-good holiday romance about falling in love — and taking a leap of faith." It stars Christina Moore as Lisa, who is horrified to discover five months into her relationship with Tom (John Ducey) that he hates her favourite holiday - Christmas.

While we're all for a cheesy Christmas film, it's safe to say fans are a little bemused by the streaming service's latest offering, with some going as far as calling it non-sensical.

"I can't believe I Believe In Santa is a real movie, but it really is... and I am still trying to figure out what I watched," one person wrote, while another put, "Watching I Believe In Santa on Netflix and, even for a Christmas film, it is bad on every level. But it’s good-bad, so it’s a big recommendation from me…"

Someone else said, "Watching I Believe In Santa and this can’t be real" and "I Believe In Santa is by far the most unhinged holiday movie I've watched so far."

Others were more supportive of the film, though, insisting it was the ultimate way to put them in the Christmas spirit. Each to their own and all that.

I Believe In Santa is now streaming on Netflix.
