Behold, the Items Kate Middleton Always Keeps in Her Bag
Delete where appropriate: no matter how hard you try to populate it with hand sanitiser, hair ties and spare gym kit, your handbag essentials normally whittle down to an alarming amount of pennies, a tube of lipstick that dates back to 2008, a phone in precarious proximity to a leaky water bottle and a credit card.
But the things Kate Middleton, a Duchess, keeps in her purse? None of that.
According to a biography of Kate by Marcia Moody, Kate's been known to travel with an arsenal of supplies that neatly fit into her clutch. Specifically, a "compact mirror, blotting paper, a handkerchief and lip balm."
Which is actually pretty normal, right? WH loves the below vegan Weleda lip balm (£6.95), which is probably why it won 'Vegan Hero' at this year's Beauty Awards. Make up artist and judge Florrie White says: 'This lip balm totally nourishes the lips and enhances their shape with a natural tint and shine. It feels so good on.'
It's interesting to note that cash/cards don't make it into Kate's must-haves, and apparently a phone isn't on the list either, though it seems unlikely that she doesn't have one somewhere.
