If you asked GH to compile a top ten of all-time beauty greats, Estée Lauder would be one of the first names on our lips. It’s been around since 1946 and manages to be both an iconic classic and a 21st century innovator. In fact, it has so many brilliant offerings that it’s proved rather tricky to agree on our best Estée Lauder products of all time!
If you’re looking for cutting-edge, clinically-proven skincare, you can’t go wrong with Estée Lauder. Its Advanced Night Repair is one of the most beloved serums in the world for good reason, and a product that the GH beauty team is fiercely loyal to. Smart formula upgrades have only deepened our devotion, while newer sister products in the ANR franchise have also slotted neatly into our beauty regimes.
Makeup is another huge strength for the Estée Lauder brand, with foundations being a particular stand-out. Its legendary Double Wear has easily stood the test of time, and recently saw off a host of pretenders to be crowned a winner in the Good Housekeeping Institute’s Hall of Fame makeup awards. And no round-up of Estée Lauder all-time heroes would be complete without mentioning the brand’s wonderful fragrances, with something for every perfume wardrobe.

Possibly the most iconic Estée Lauder product of all time, and for good reason. Advance Night Repair (fondly known as ANR by beauty obsessives) works overtime to brighten and hydrate using powerhouse ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, squalane and antioxidants.
In recent years it's been upgraded to work even better with the addition of adansonia digitata seed extract. This boosts a key signalling molecule involved in the skin's natural repair process, aiding fresh collagen formation. And we didn't think we could love it any more.
Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing Makeup SPF45 35ml (Various Shades)
One of the most brilliant makeup/skincare hybrids we’ve ever found. The glowy, featherlight formula smooths over fatigue and makes skin both look and feel healthier. That’s thanks to a stack of goodies built into the buildable coverage, including probiotics, a chia seed extract, hydrating ion-charged water complex and SPF45 to shore up your daily sunscreen. It’s radiance in a tube.
Advanced Night Repair Overnight Treatment
This luscious, cocooning night cream is a lovely new sister to the ANR and it's worthy of that iconic name. Rich without being claggy, the formula melts in beautifully and feels like a real treat for tired, dehydrated skin at the end of a long day. You’ll be even happier when you wake up to smoother, softer, brighter skin in the morning.
ESTÉE LAUDER Bronze Goddess Nuit Eau de Parfum 50ml
In the beauty world, summer hasn't started until the arrival of the annual limited edition version of Bronze Goddess – this coconut-laced scent is a holiday in a bottle. However, since we're all impatient for our fix of sunshine, Lauder has decided to give us a year-round version of its iconic Vitamin D perfume, and it's a joyous as an impromptu winter getaway to the Caribbean.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place makeup
Double Wear needs little introduction – it became an instant classic when it debuted in 1997 and continues to scoop to awards today. It's a winner in GHI's testing and it's also loved by the GH team who agreed it really scores for staying power without feeling or looking heavy. The coverage is full but buildable, and it blends effortlessly to a velvety finish that's matte but never flat.
Revitalizing Supreme+ Night Intensive Restorative Crème
We're big fans of both the day and night version of Lauder's Supreme+ cream. While we've yet to find a face lift in a jar, we do think that this formula makes skin a bit firmer as well as generally more perky.
