BBC Morning Live host issues health update as she misses show
One BBC Morning Live star has taken to Instagram to issue a statement as she misses the show. Michelle Ackerly, who often presents the live series alongside Welsh host Gethin Jones is nursing an illness.
Posting a photo of a mug filled with lemons, medicine and a nasal spray Michelle captioned the photo "What a cracking few days" followed by a face-palming emoji. Michelle and Gethin are both missing from the show on Monday, March 3 with Gordon Smart and Helen Skeleton taking over the reigns instead.

Welsh TV presenter Justine Jones, who appears on Morning Live, has posted a very cryptic message to Instagram saying she was "starting over". Justine, who hails from Merthyr Tydfil, has appeared on Morning Live for different segments from scaling the Principality Stadium to opening up about her panic attacks.
Now she has posted a very cryptic message to Instagram as she says she is "starting over". Sharing a quote that reads: "Don't be afraid to start all over again. You may like your new story better." Justine tagged Cardiff as the location and captioned the post "Starting Over" with a purple heart.
The post has been liked by different celebrities including fellow Morning Live star Dr Punam Krishan and Ruth Langsford. In November 2024 Justine spoke very openly about her mental health on Morning Live.
She hosted a segment about panic attacks and posted to her Instagram story before the segment aired on Morning Live on Friday, November 15, Justine said "It's never easy" and that she hopes to bring comfort to others who have panic attacks. You can read more, here.
