WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THIS WEEK'S EPISODE OF THE APPRENTICE AHEAD

Fans of The Apprentice have taken to social media to voice their opinion on Welsh contestant Nadia Suliaman after she was close to being fired from the show. This week, the 17 brand-new candidates were tasked with creating their own virtual popstars and tensions quickly rose, as they often do, as the contestants battled to get their voices heard.

Throughout the episode, tensions developed between Nadia, the owner of a premium salon chain who grew up in Swansea, and her group's project manager Amber-Rose Badrudin. When trying to create a song for their virtual popstars, Amber-Rose told the other contestants to be quiet and raise their hands if they wanted to contribute, while her and Frederick would be making the decisions.

When Nadia questioned this, Amber-Rose accused her of being "disruptive". Later on in the episode, Amber-Rose led the team during editing of the virtual popstars' music video, leading Nadia to suggest she was being "swept aside".

The pair then came to a head when it was time for Amber-Rose to select who would be pitching their virtual popstars to clients and she refused to pick Nadia, due to "disruptions that could arise", adding that she was "worried" that not everyone would have their voices heard if Nadia was involved in the pitch. Nadia fought back defending her business record.

However, Amber-Rose finished the conversation by saying "Nadia the challenges are how you've presented your argument to me now - it's extremely condescending." When this group lost the challenge, Nadia was brought back to the boardroom by Amber-Rose because of how "distracting" she had been. She also said that she had spent much of the task "managing" Nadia's behaviour.

Last week, Nadia had been accused of jumping in on sales. However, while Lord Sugar described Nadia as a "bull in the china shop", she managed to survive another week. He fired Aoibheann Walsh instead, explaining that she hadn't contributed much to either task. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter

Viewers took to social media to share their shock that the Welsh hopeful had managed to survive the second week. One fan posted on X: "WDYM [what do you mean] NADIA IS STILL HERE WHAT. THE. HELL." Another added: "Nah the apprentice has to be purely for entertainment because how can Nadia not have been fired this week???"

Speaking to WalesOnline about what it was like to take part on The Apprentice, Nadia said: "It is really intense, it is 24 hours a day, there is loads of running around, we live together, it is intense but it is amazing. The experience is like no other… I just loved every second of it. I met some awesome people on there, some really really big characters... It is a big experience. Everyone is different, there is not one way of doing business, everyone has got their way."

She also spoke about what it was like to be around the formidable Lord Sugar, she said: "I found him to be amazing and he is super supportive. Watching him from such a young age and seeing him, I did use to think he was scary but now meeting him in real life and seeing him, he is awesome. His business mindset is incredible… he is just an inspiration and I like the way he just tells it as it is, straight down the line, no messing around." The Apprentice continues at 9pm on BBC One on Thursday, February 13.
