Baywatch actress Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff dies aged 61
Former Baywatch actress Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff has died at the age of 61. The American actress shared two daughters, Hayley and Taylor, with her ex-husband and Baywatch co-star David Hasselhoff.
She was pronounced dead at her home in California on Wednesday evening, March 5, according to TMZ. The American entertainment news site reported that the law enforcement sources told them that family members wanted to check on the actress out of concern after not hearing from her and medics were called on a report of an unconscious female shortly after 10pm.
The actress was married to David Hasselhoff from 1989 to 2006 before he tied the knot with Hayley Roberts, originally from Glynneath. The actor said he was "deeply saddened" to hear the news about his ex-wife. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter.

He told TMZ in a statement: "Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time."
Pamela made her movie debut in 1983's Rumblefish and her TV roles included parts in Sirens, The Young and the Restless, The Fall Guy, TJ Hooker and a 10-year stint alongside her then-husband David in Baywatch. David and Pamela's divorce was acrimonious and they were still resolving issues about spousal support in 2017.
He also referenced his own decreased income, which had previously led to a reduction in the monthly payments from $21,000. However, the Viper actress retaliated and in her legal documents claimed she had made "good faith and reasonable efforts" to find work as an actress, but due to her age, "the current market for actresses" and the time she dedicated to raising their family, she hadn't been successful.
She contended that David still earned around $1 million a year, while her prime earning years were spent raising their daughters and maintaining their home so the actor could advance his own career. Her legal documents also alleged that her ex-husband had failed to provide her with $1 million to equalise the division of their assets when they divorced, as she received $325,000 from their house, whereas he retained the home, a boat, jet skis, and two trusts with substantial assets.
