Barbie And Ken Storm Into Brits' Top Ten Pet Halloween Costumes

British pet owners are set to go wild for Barbie and Ken this Halloween as the hit summer movie has sparked a spooky new costume trend.

A comprehensive survey conducted among 2,000 British pet enthusiasts exposes the extent to which animals have become an integral part of the nation's Halloween festivities.

Amazon, the e-commerce giant, has reported an astonishing threefold surge in Halloween pet costume orders this year. The survey findings indicate that two-thirds of pet owners, intend to deck out their furry friends in thematic attire for Halloween.

Remarkably, over half of the respondents confessed that they were willing to allocate more time and resources to their pets' Halloween get-ups than to their own. Although the top four choices are traditional costumes - a vampire, wizard/witch, pumpkin, or ghost - beyond that film and TV trends are having an impact on the outfits we dress our furry friends in - with Beetlejuice in fifth spot, followed by Barbie in sixth.

In addition to Hocus Pocus’s Sanderson sisters, ‘Cowboy Ken’ from the Barbie movie also makes the top ten. To accompany the news, Amazon has unveiled a collection of images showcasing the nation's beloved pets donning this year's most popular Halloween outfits. Examples include a pair of a Maltese and a Dachshund dressed up as Barbie and Ken and a Bengal cat draped in a Harry Potter cloak.
