With award season in full swing, the BAFTAs played host to some memorable red carpet looks at the Royal Festival Hall last night.

This year, A-listers – from Hollywood stars to supermodels – pulled out all the stops with head-turning beauty looks too. Hair felt theatrical; whether in romantic-leaning up-dos or minimally styled with a structured, sleek finish. Statement lips were seen on Lily Collins, Carey Mulligan and Claire Foy, while Florence Pugh and Taylor Russell reminded us of the enduring appeal of cool toned eye make-up. Overall, while there was a nod to the ongoing trend for an au natural visage, the beauty theme oozed modern glamour with a dash of drama.
