In case you weren’t aware, Britain has been enjoying the hottest summer since 1976.

It’s come with its challenges: when we haven’t been concentrating on not dying from dehydration, we’ve been attempting to navigate the tricky task that is heatwave dressing.

And our long hot summer is showing no signs of slowing down for August.

Luckily, the high street and beyond seems to be catering to the extreme conditions, wheeling out all manner of loose-fitting dresses, ventilating fabrics (hello linen) and stylish yet practical accessories.

These are the clothes, shoes and accessories Yahoo Style UK is shopping this heatwave and all summer long…
