Inbaal Honigman, an astrologer and mystic for more than 20 years who has appeared on Big Brother's Little Brother and Most Haunted, has said that March 6 is the luckiest day to make that move.

And anyone who is moving into their new home on this date will be blessed with luck for two reasons which is to do with planetary alignment.

Inbaal, speaking on behalf of fruityslots.com, explained: "The 6th is the best day to sign those papers and pick up the keys for several reasons.

"Thursday is Thor's day, a day for luck in abundance and making big moves. On that day Jupiter, which is the planet of luck, nestles right by the moon, which controls dreams.

"So it's literally a day to make dreams come true."

March is also a key month for people selling houses. Housebuyers4you said people who put their properties up for sale this month are in the best position to sell them quickly.

And Thursdays are a good day to put your property on the market too. A study by Redfin, a property brokerage firm, analysed date from 7 million homes across the UK to establish the best day of the week to list a house.

The research found that those listed on Thursdays statistically spent fewer days on the market and sold for a higher price compared to listings on other days of the week. It was attributed to buyers actively searching for new properties ahead of the weekend and thinking about viewings and making offers.
