Armani Casa Partners With Brazilian Developer Embraed on Residences

MILAN — Armani Casa continues to plant flags around the world.

The brand’s first real estate project in the South of Brazil will be located in Balneário Camboriú, a resort town in the state of Santa Caterina, on the Barra Sul waterfront. The 78-story building will comprise apartments spanning up to almost 12,000 square feet.

In an agreement with Embraed, a luxury real estate construction and development company with 40 years of experience, the project will be officially launched in 2026.

“This new project is a deeper exploration of my lifestyle concept,” said Giorgio Armani. “The collaboration with Embraed ensures the standards of excellence and quality to which I aspire, and which are essential to me, while the location in such an expansive natural setting, overlooking the sea, adds a special meaning to the entire initiative.”

The Armani/Casa Residences by Embraed will be on the prestigious Avenida Atlântica, 5320 — Barra Sul, an area that has boasted a prime real estate market since 2022.

“This partnership is the result of work that began in 2022, when we went to Italy and presented the project, Embraed’s standards and Balneário Camboriú’s unique location, all key differentiating factors for the feasibility of the collaboration between the two brands, which was subject to Giorgio Armani’s rigorous analysis before the final decision,” said Tatiana Cequinel, chief executive officer of Embraed.

Of the 113 residential units, 31 “will be even more exclusive, with customizable layouts,” said Cequinel, featuring private pools and gardens.

The common areas and amenities will be entirely designed by the Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio and will feature Armani/Casa accessories.

In September, as reported, the Armani Group partnered with real estate developer Patrimar on the design of residential units, common areas and amenities of a luxury real estate complex in Rio de Janeiro.

The Armani/Casa interior design studio has already realized residential projects in cities including Miami, London, Dubai, Beijing, Tel Aviv, Manila, Mumbai and Istanbul.

In October, Armani celebrated the opening of his company’s new building on Madison Avenue, entirely redesigned to include residential units, an Armani/Ristorante and the new Giorgio Armani and Armani/Casa boutiques.

Armani has built a successful interior design business over more than two decades.

His first hotel opened in Dubai in 2010 in the Burj Khalifa, followed by one in Milan a year later, both in a venture with Dubai-based developer Emaar Properties PJSC that was established in 2005.

An Armani Hotel will rise in Diriyah, a 300-year-old site located a 15-minute drive from Riyadh, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is expected to be completed in 2026.
