Ariana Grande Takes a Nap in Studio on Final Days of Making New Album: 'So Tired But So Grateful'

The pop superstar previously released her sixth album 'Positions' in 2020

Ariana Grande is ready to say "Goodnight n Go!"

The pop superstar, 30, updated fans on her seventh studio album Wednesday by sharing some behind-the-scenes clips and videos from her album sessions, including a video of her taking a nap on one of her final days recording.

In the clip, Grande can be seen curled up on a couch with a cozy blanket — facing away from the camera — as a collaborator asks her about her mindset during what he called "almost the last day of this album."

"I'm so tired but so happy and grateful," Grande said while laughing in the video.

"I also feel like I weigh 3,000 tons. Like, the idea of moving is impossible," she added. "I can't stop."

In the post, the "REM" singer did more than just get some shut eye, as she shared a cute behind-the-scenes image of her pup Toulouse, a photo of her shedding some tears while giving a thumbs up in front of recording equipment, a few behind-the-scenes polaroids from the recording process and even a video of her mom Joan Grande busting some moves.

For the Polaroids, Grande tagged her reported new manager Brandon Creed and a few collaborators including producer Ilya Salmanzadeh, who previously worked with her on tracks such as "No Tears Left to Cry," "Problem" and "Side to Side."

"see you next year ♡," Grande captioned the post.

Friends, fans and family members also couldn't hold in their excitement in the comments section, where mom Joan, brother Frankie Grande and even Rachel Zegler sounded off.

"It’s official. 2024 is my favorite year of all time. 🫠," Frankie wrote.

Grande, who previously released her sixth LP Positions in 2020, has much to celebrate outside of her music career, too. Beyond her upcoming role in the movie adaptation of Wicked, Grande was also spotted Friday in New York City stepping out with Ethan Slater for one of the first times publicly.

A source told PEOPLE that Grande and Slater, 31, joined her father Ed Butera for a meal at a family-favorite Italian spot before catching Slater's performance in Spamalot. "They love to support each other in their work," the source added. "When she’s done with work, Ariana loves going to the theater when she can."

Grande has supported the production at the St. James Theatre multiple times during its run since rehearsals kicked off a few months back — from cheering Slater on during a preview performance in October to attending opening night on Nov. 15. PEOPLE previously confirmed their relationship in July, following her separation from husband Dalton Gomez and Slater's separation from wife Lilly Jay. Grande and Gomez settled their divorce in October.
