Anthea Turner, 61, on staying young: 'I'm more confident now than I have ever been'
Anthea Turner has shared her tips for staying young.
The former TV presenter, 61, says the key secret to youthfulness is to "push yourself out of your comfort zone".
She also advises against staying on the sofa all day, and reveals what gets her to say yes to "crazy challenges".
The presenter, known for appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, Dancing On Ice and Celebrity SAS, told Hello! magazine: "I think the best way to stay young is to push yourself out of your comfort zone.
"Don't stay on the sofa all day, get out there and do something different, that's what matters and that's why I tend to say yes to these crazy challenges."
Turner is due to appear in the new E4 series The Real Dirty Dancing, to be hosted by Ashley Roberts and Keith Lemon, in which celebrities' dance moves will be put to the test, with routines based on iconic scenes from the 1987 film starring Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze.

She went on to explain how she has developed confidence over the years. "Whether you are 18 or 58, everyone relates to Baby. We have all been her, there is that person inside all of us. Even people like me who on the surface appear to be confident," she said.
"I know very few people who actually really are, especially women. But I am more confident now than I have ever been in my life. Why didn't I realise I could feel like this!"
