The Anguished Man, the most haunted painting in the world
This creepy looking painting is referred to as the most haunted painting in the world. Currently owned by Sean Robinson, a resident of Cumbria, England, the painting certainly has a history.
When Sean was a young boy, he found himself drawn to the strange looking painting he’d found at his grandmother’s house. He spent hours looking at it … as though it had cast a spell on him.
Years later, when his grandmother died, she left the painting to Sean who at the time had a family of his own. He brought the painting back to his house and strange events began to take place. Doors cracked in the middle of the night, screaming noises were heard and the family was constantly being haunted by nightmares.
When Sean realized that the strange occurrences were apparently caused by the painting, he decided to explore its origin. He discovered that the artist had used his own blood mixed with oil paints for the painting. The artist killed himself soon after he had finished the painting. Despite the paranormal occurrences, Sean refuses to sell it and has locked it away in a secure place.
There are several fake versions of the painting being sold on eBay.
