Andie MacDowell's Cannes eye make-up proves fun beauty doesn't have an age limit
Andie MacDowell has been having a great time in the French Riviera for the 75th Cannes Film Festival this year, and everything down to her eye-catching beauty look for the closing ceremony has oozed utter joy.
The actor and model, 64, proved age is just a number when it comes to having fun with your make-up, hair and even clothes, too.
The Groundhog Day star took to the Croisette for the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France on the weekend in a satin emerald green dress, with capped sleeves and a subtle empire line around the waist which highlighted the 64-year-old’s toned figure.

But it was her Euphoria-worthy eye make-up that really caught the attention of the crowd, and fans at home.
MacDowell, who has been a long-serving ambassador for L’Oréal, picked up the green of her dress and elevated her make-up look with matching emerald crystals dotted beneath her eyes.
The rest of her make-up look, created by L’Oréal’s global make-up director Val Garland, was kept fairly simple to let the gems have their moment, save for a sweep of golden eyeshadow across the actor’s lids, and a subtle teal-green in her waterline.
MacDowell’s hair was swept back into a half-up-half-down ‘do, and the actor accessorised with black sandal high heels and a gold bangle.

MacDowell has embraced her salt-and-pepper locks since she first debuted the grey change on the Annette premiere red carpet at Cannes last year.
Since then, she has proven time and time again that embracing her grey hair doesn’t mean she can’t have a bit of fun with some typically ‘younger’ styles.
It isn’t the first time MacDowell has embraced her frivolous side at this year’s festival, which she is attending as part of her role as a spokeswoman for L’Oréal.

Last week, she attended the red carpet for the premiere of highly anticipated immigrant drama Mother And Son in an archival Dior haute couture gown from 2018 and embraced her natural curly hair texture, too.
But it was her moment with fellow L’Oréal ambassador Helen Mirren that saw smiles across the board, as she joined The Queen actor – who wore a sparkling sequinned gown and hair extensions – and the pair danced together down the red carpet.
