Kylie Minogue cuts a svelte figure in sheer corset dress at Cannes Film Festival
The ‘Princess of Pop’ Kylie Minogue broke her red carpet hiatus on Wednesday as she attended the premiere screening of Baz Luhrmann’s latest blockbuster, Elvis, at the Cannes Film Festival.
Minogue, 53, cut a svelte figure in an all-black ensemble by Versace for the star-studded event on the French Riviera.
The singer opted for the all-black dress which featured a sheer, structured, corset-style bodice with boned piping, and a straight, embellished, column skirt.

The sheer corset top half also gave a glimpse of a bejewelled bra beneath.
The red carpet appearance was Minogue’s first in a long time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the singer choosing to move back to her home country of Australia after 30 years last year.
The structured boning of the corset showed off Minogue’s toned figure, whilst a slit in the skirt allowed her legs to peek out as she posed for pictures on the red carpet.

The singer accessorised with a diamond and emerald Bulgari choker and boosted her petite 5ft frame in strappy René Caovilla high-heels.
The singer kept her signature blonde hair out and styled in a loose wave, for the Elvis premiere in the South of France.
The Elvis Presley biopic from Australia's Baz Luhrmann is set to be one of the films of the summer.
The director is famed for his high-octane films such as the 2013 The Great Gatsby, and his musical Moulin Rouge! which also premiered at the Cannes Film Festival over 20 years ago, and featured a less-than one-minute long cameo by Minogue as the seductive Green Fairy in the 2001 epic.
