Amy Schumer is officially a New York Times best-seller and her memoir is so #relatable

Comedy *queen* Amy Schumer has been teasing her book, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, for months on end now and while it finally hit bookshelves nationwide earlier this month, Amy can officially call herself a New York Times best-selling author.

Schumer posted a photo of the list on Instagram and thanked her sister and sister-in-law for helping her achieve the coveted goal.

The book is collection of personal essays and stories about childhood, relationships, and stories of being a woman in the industry written by the 34-year old Inside Amy Schumer actress. Amy is known for being brutally honest in interviews and on stage, so is it any wonder that her book is filled with comedy gold? One of the more laugh-out-loud quotes is about her getting a huge crush on her trainer, and TBH, we can all relate to this one:

“On the evolution chart, this guy and I were at opposite ends. I was dragging my knuckles, sniffing around for bananas, throwing my own feces at tourists, and he was a Disney prince but with more sex appeal. I reached out and was all, ‘Can you help me with my diet?’ and he was all, ‘Sure, let’s meet up at this healthy-eating place,’ and I was all, ‘Here comes the bride.'”

Another relatable bit from the memoir, on being called a funny woman: “First, I’d like to thank all the people who pointed out that I was a woman. You made sure I didn’t lose sight of my ovaries. Thank you. Without your constant reminders, I may have just forgotten my uterus on a crosstown bus, but you guys made me perpetually aware that I bleed once a month and I can tell a joke!”

LOL, seriously, she never fails to make us laugh.
