I have bought many things online over the last 24 months (haven't we all?). In fact, I have seen the delivery person more than my own family (haven't we all?).
I will confess that most of the purchases that seemed “essential” to me at the time, are now languishing at the back of our kitchen cabinets or strewn in our ‘spare room’ (which, in the absence of guests, has become more of a lost property office).
When I came across my latest purchase, however, I knew that we were destined to be together for years to come – and currently we are inseparable.
The Winthome Blanket Hoodie has been affectionately named “the sherpa fluffle” by my household.
Pulling it on in the morning makes getting up easier. It feels like clambering out of one duvet and slipping into another, except that the second one moves easily around with me and has a a snuggly hood and a huge pocket for storing snacks.
It can be worn over pyjamas or just with underwear and socks (depending on how much of an ‘effort’ you want to make), and I’ve even paired it with leggings and hiking boots for a Saturday amble.
And, just when my family start to joke that I’ve worn it enough, I reverse the garment and wear it the other way for a bit of a change – who’s laughing now, eh?
(Oh, did I mention it has a pocket for your snacks?! Well, more likely for keeping your hands warm, but I use it for snacks.)
