Celebrities including Amal Clooney have braved a rather rainy red carpet today for a very special occasion: The Prince’s Trust Awards.

Amal, 44, brought the sunshine with her in a strapless red floral midi dress for the charity occasion, a break from her usual business casual attire.

The British-Lebanese barrister looked as stunning as ever in the figure-hugging dress, which cinched in at the waist and highlighted the lawyer’s toned physique.

The mother-of-two kept her dark brunette hair in its signature glossy waves for the event – which celebrates the achievements of young people who have overcome difficult circumstances – and opted for coordinating white stiletto court shoes to match her white clutch bag.

The awards ceremony is in its 17th year and will be attended by The Prince's Trust founder and president, Prince Charles, as it will be aired for the first time this year.

Amal Clooney attended the Prince’s Trust Awards event to present the Amal Clooney Women’s Empowerment Award, sponsored by Charlotte Tilbury. The award highlights the work of young women who have pushed against the limitations and made a lasting difference in their communities.

Amal recently proved her timeless style chops as she took a break from preparing to address the UN’s economic and social council on the situation in Ukraine in April.

The mother-of-two opted for three stunning outfits taking her from smart casual dinner dress with her mother Baria Alamuddin, to business casual for day duties in New York, to business proper for addressing the UN council.

The human rights lawyer was joined by a whole host of famous faces at the charity event in London hosted by Ant and Dec, where the overwhelming red carpet trend seemed to be sensational suiting.

Bridgerton season one star Phoebe Dynevor graced the red carpet in a black tailored two-piece with a dropped tweed jacket. It looked like the actor had also taken her usual red-brown hair a shade darker for the event, where she wore it in long Hollywood-style curls.

Elsewhere, presenters Clara Amfo and Emma Willis took on the ‘dopamine dressing’ trend with aplomb in stunning vibrant coloured spring suits; Amfo in a patterned purple number, whilst Willis opted for pink.

Spice Girls alum Mel C – Melanie Chisholm – chose an oversized lilac single-breasted suit and wore a white crop top underneath that gave just a hint of her famous ‘Sporty Spice’ abs.
