Namely? The chance to get up close and personal with some of the powerhouse brand's most special looks, spanning both recent and archive collections.

Located in 27 Old Bond Street, the 11,000 square foot London flagship is being turned into a celebration of the McQueen brand journey.

Current Creative Director Sarah Burton has worked closely with architect Smiljan Radic to make the space as immersive as possible, putting it at odds with the traditional bricks-and-mortar experience.

Spanning three levels, the shop's ground and first floors will house the current womenswear and menswear collections, as you might expect.

But the second floor will become a chance to explore the brand's most incredible archival pieces, plus photography and artwork.

The space will also play host to an upcoming series of exhibitions and talks for student designers, perpetuating the McQueen tradition of fostering up-and-coming talent.
