The One Show's Alex Jones is joining forces with Strictly star Harry Judd for a new project.

The TV presenter and McFly drummer have teased a new podcast titled Binge!, with a promotional photo shared on Instagram today (August 6) announcing the new venture.

"Can you guess what's going on?" reads the post caption, shared on the newly established @bingpodcastofficial Instagram page. In the image the two are seen sitting on a sofa with Alex holding a TV remote and Harry holding a bucket of popcorn.

While details are limited, the post certainly suggests the podcast will be entertainment focused, with the pair potentially sharing their best TV and film recommendations with fans.

In addition to the photo, a date of 12.09.24 appears in the bio of the official Binge! Instagram profile page. This suggests listeners can expect the first episode to drop on September 12.

Alex and Harry both appeared in the 2011 series of Strictly Come Dancing, with Alex competing with former professional dancer James Jordan and Harry partnered with ex-Strictly dancer Aliona Vilani.

Harry and Aliona were crowned the winners of the series, taking home the glitterball trophy, while Alex just lost out on a place in the final, exiting the competition after the semi-final.

The two have been firm friends since their Strictly experience and Harry has occasionally stepped in as co-host on The One Show with Alex over the years.

The One Show is currently on a break with the BBC's Olympics 2024 coverage filling the programme's usual weekday evening slot. The show will be back on screens on 12 August, the day after the closing ceremony.

The One Show airs on weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.
