If you don't have traditional bread on hand, don't worry - you can use tortillas as a substitute. In fact, lifestyle influencer Matilda Relefors, aka @brunchingblonde, recently shared a clever hack for transforming tortillas into delicious garlic flatbreads in just four minutes using an air fryer.

Matilda, who loves sharing simple recipes and discovering new eateries, revealed that using a tortilla is a great alternative to traditional bread. "If you're craving garlic bread, but you don't have bread, just use a tortilla," she suggested.

With this quick and easy recipe, you can satisfy your garlic bread cravings in no time. Simply use a tortilla, add some garlic and seasonings, and cook it in the air fryer for four minutes. You'll have a tasty garlic flatbread that's perfect for snacking or pairing with your favourite pasta dishes.

Make homemade garlic flatbreads

Begin by laying a tortilla flat on the surface, butter one side, then finely mince a clove of garlic and sprinkle across the buttered tortilla.

For an extra layer of flavour, sprinkle freshly chopped chives over the top.

Preheat the air fryer to 180C, place the tortilla inside, and cook it for four minutes until the edges are perfectly crisped to a golden brown.

Cut it into four neat triangles and enjoy with your favourite pasta dish, savouring each delicious mouthful.
